We will reopen on May the 1st 2015.
We are now open for the season. We hope you have the time to stop by and watch professional artists in action. No we do not do the "blow-your-own" thing that many studios in the area do. But what you will see is the real thing like you would in Venice and other glass venues around the world. You will have the process explained, in detail, and will be offered the opportunity to ask the artist all of those questions that you have about the craft. We also have a very wide selection of finished work at reasonable prices.
So give us a look. Set in a quiet and peaceful bit of the beautiful coastal terrain just one half mile east of highway 101 in Immonen Rd.
We are reopening for another fun year on May 1st, 2015.
Be sure to check out Page 2 for information on the folks who work at the studio.
The Alderhouse is an open studio welcoming visitors to watch as craftspeople ply the 2000 year-old art of turning molten glass into beautiful objects.
We are open from 10 til 5 daily from the first of May until the end of October.
For a look inside the studio try our Virtual tour page.
Take a look at my journal about our trip to the Land-down-under in the winter of 2001..
Or just some ramblings of some personal stuff that has happened.
